Frederick Tranter opened on Church Street in the 1870s and has been selling tobacco from the same corner of Bath ever since. Havana House acquired the shop in October 2011 and kept the name, the fittings and the trade.
It is a small shop that carries a deep range: Cuban and New World cigars, a wall of pipe tobacco blended on site, briar pipes, and a short, considered selection of whisky and rum.
