Number 37 is a listed building on the Oxford High, and the shop inside it is the sister to Bath’s Frederick Tranter.
Cuban and New World cigars, loose pipe tobacco, pipes, and a small spirits range. It is the closest specialist tobacconist to the colleges, and it has served them for a long time.
Getting here
On the High Street between Magpie Lane and Logic Lane. Oxford station is a fifteen-minute walk; every city bus stops on the High.
Parking. The High Street is bus-and-taxi only through the day. Use Westgate car park or the park-and-ride.
